Our Sauna

INFRARED SAUNA

Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas don't heat the air around you. Instead, they use infrared lamps to warm your body directly.  Our full-spectrum infrared sauna combines the beneficial infrared rays with the therapeutic beauty of visible color light in every session. By eliminating the sun’s troublesome, harmful UV rays we provide a safe, restorative sweat session that will leave you feeling rejuvenated.

Why we love it

BENEFITS OF INFRARED SAUNA

Infrared sauna use is the most effective method of prompting hyperthermia (rise in body temperature) for detoxification. Increased blood circulation stimulates the sweat glands, quickly expunging built-up toxins and waste through the skin, the body’s largest organ.

Our sauna uses near, mid, and far-infrared waves which gently heat the body from within. These waves are able to deeply penetrate the skin, muscles, joints, and tissues to improve blood circulation, oxygen flow, and help to detoxify the body by removing impurities at the cellular level where bodies store waste and harmful toxins. The cooler temperature allows for a longer session and increased therapeutic benefits making our sauna a great alternative for those who can’t tolerate the high heat of a traditional sauna.

Three Waves, Multiple Health Benefits

Full-spectrum refers to all 3 types of infrared: Near, Mid and Far and each has its own pros! They interact differently with our bodies and provide different benefits.

Your Experience...

BEFORE

HYDRATE -  Always drink plenty of water before, during and after your sauna session. Remove all makeup to allow your skin to receive the full benefits of the IR heat during your sauna experience.

ARRIVE 10 MIN EARLY - We will get you checked-in, situated and make sure you know how to work the sauna controls.

WHAT TO WEAR - We will provide a spa wrap for you to use during your session. Lightweight shorts and a tee-shirt or swimsuits are okay too. We recommend bringing clothing that is loose fitting and comfortable to put back on after your session.

DURING

ENTERTAINMENT - Watch videos or listen to your favorite music

CHROMOTHERAPY - Choose your light color based on your mood and goals

MOVEMENT Connect with your body through gentle stretching

STILLNESS - Let your mind melt into a meditative state

REMEMBER - Results are cumulative. This means the more you come in, the better you will feel. Just like dieting or exercising, it will take a few sessions before benefits begin to manifest. You may notice that it takes 10-20 minutes to break a sweat in your first session. This is because the infrared sauna heats your body directly, passively raising your core temperature 2-3 degrees, rather than heating your skin with hot air. This is a defining difference between IR and a traditional sauna. As your body becomes more accustomed to raising your core temperature on a regular basis, your sweat will become more excessive and start sooner into your session.

AFTER

REFRESH & REPLENISH - When you finish your sauna session, you will continue to perspire as your body naturally cools down. Refresh with a provided cold eucalyptus towel and place used towels in the bin. Your body just flushed out a lot of toxins - be sure to replenish and rehydrate with plenty of water.

COLOR LIGHT THERAPY

Infrared is part of a natural spectrum. Nature brings us infrared in the form of sunlight. The sun emits a wide range of light, most of which we can’t actually see. Infrared is the invisible light that we cannot see, but we feel as heat. The most naturally occurring sources are the sun and fire. Sunlight is 52-55% infrared. It’s all the good parts of the sun’s healing.

Infrared is invisible. The evidence is in how our body responds to it. Infrared’s healing rays are felt on our skin as warmth, and are absorbed by our bodies to help them detoxify, relax, improve circulation, recover faster, sleep better, age well and help us feel good. The proof of this activity in our body is evidenced in the increase in core body temperature that happens during a 30 minute infrared sauna session. Our sauna is clinically- proven to raise core body temperature 3 degrees, which unleashes the most benefits to our health.

WHAT IS INFRARED?

THREE WAVES, MULTIPLE HEALTH BENEFITS

Full-spectrum refers to all 3 types of infrared: Near, Mid and Far and each has its own pros! They interact differently with our bodies and provide different benefits.

  1. Near Infrared (NIR) - for Anti-Aging, Skin Health, Muscle Recovery

  2. Mid Infrared (MIR) - for Heart Health, Circulation, Pain Relief, Muscle Recovery

  3. Far Infrared (FIR) - for Detoxification, Heart Health, Weight Loss, Immunity, General Wellness, Relaxation, Muscle Recovery

HARNESS THE HEALTHY ENERGY

Visible light and infrared are part of the electromagnetic spectrum, a continuum of light waves organized by how they interact with matter. Scientists explain infrared is a safe, gentle form that brings many good, healthy things to earth and human beings. The energy it delivers is just the right nudge cells need to stimulate warmth, growth, and release.

RELAX THE MIND

Melt away stress. Experience therapeutic heat that leaves you feeling physically restored and mentally refreshed.

Infrared sauna therapy promotes relaxation by helping to balance your body’s level of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone.

1

DETOX THE BODY

Sweating is one of the body's safest and most natural ways to heal and maintain good health. Infrared sauna heat increases your blood circulation to help stimulate the sweat glands, releasing built up toxins in the body which can then be eliminated by the liver and bowel. You can experience an effortless, deep & productive sweat as the SoloCarbon infrared waves penetrate your skin and heat your core to expel toxins.

Regular sessions can help detoxify your body as it rids itself of accumulated highly toxic metals such as lead, mercury, nickel, alcohol, nicotine, sulfuric acid, and other organic and inorganic compounds.
